The Assistant Professor in Applied Behavior Analysis will teach courses, perform research, and fulfill the mission of the Department of Curriculum & Instruction. The position involves teaching in the graduate ABA program, providing direct supervision to students completing their ABA Field Experience/Practicum, and conducting scholarly work related to ABA. The candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a record of scholarly productivity through peer-reviewed publications, acquisition of external funding, and presentations at various conferences. Additionally, the role includes providing service at the University, professional and community levels, developing partnerships with area ABA and public programs for student field experiences, chairing and/or serving on graduate MA and PhD committees, mentoring graduate students, and engaging in program development with faculty.
