About The Position

Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking an Assistant Professor to teach graduate-level courses in the area of Health Administration. The successful candidate will have an area of expertise in healthcare finance, healthcare marketing, or healthcare quantitative analysis.

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess a Doctorate in Health Administration.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A commitment to student success and the ability to motivate and inspire students to learn.
  • All academic degrees earned in the U.S. shall have been awarded by regionally accredited institutions, and faculty shall provide documentation thereof.
  • For faculty whose degrees are earned abroad, official transcripts must be submitted to and evaluated by the appropriate academic unit.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver graduate-level courses in healthcare administration based on the course learning outcomes and syllabi.
  • Advise and mentor students.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in the field and incorporate them into the course material.
  • Perform department, school and university service.
  • Engage in professional development activities as defined by the Boyer Model.
  • Teach courses at the graduate level in a live-virtual modality.
  • Work with adjunct faculty.
  • Assist with curriculum development.
  • Assist the department with the academic program and assessment.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed.
