About The Position

The Robert W. Plaster School of Business at Park University invites applicants for an Assistant or Associate Professor in Finance. This is a tenure-track position located in Parkville, MO with a start date of August 2026 (preferred) or January 2027. Position Accountabilities Primary responsibilities include high-quality face-to-face and online teaching, service, and scholarship. Qualified candidates will demonstrate working collaboratively with colleagues for program development, assessment, providing service to the university and community, and engaging in student advising. Strong candidates will have compelling evidence to teach multiple finance course and serve as the program lead for the finance undergraduate and graduate programs. This includes oversight of adjunct faculty. Consideration of an Associate Professor position will be given to candidates demonstrating substantial teaching, service, and scholarship excellence as well as documented leadership success as a full-time faculty member. Position Requirements: Qualifications: Ph.D. or D.B.A with Finance emphasis, or equivalent terminal degree from a regionally accredited university. ABD will be considered. Demonstrated record of teaching effectiveness. Demonstrated record of quality scholarly activity. Related industry or consulting experience. Program leadership experience is preferred.
