About The Position

Requirements

• Earned doctorate in the Kinesiology field
• Candidates who are ABD may be considered with expected completion of the doctorate within one year from appointment date

• Demonstrated experience and evidence of university-level teaching
• Experience in delivering undergraduate and/or graduate coursework in exercise science

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in exercise science
• Advise/mentor undergraduate and graduate students
• Implement an active research agenda that leads to nationally/internationally refereed publications and presentations
• Pursue external funding for research
• Direct graduate/undergraduate research projects
• Provide service to the department, university, and professional organizations
