The Department of Kinesiology at the University of Georgia invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor in the area of Exercise Physiology to begin on August 1, 2026. We are seeking the highest quality scholar in the area of Exercise Physiology with a research agenda focused on the physiological implications of physical activity/inactivity, aging, chronic disease, and/or disability. The ideal candidate's research program will build upon current strengths within the department along with centers and initiatives across the university, including the Obesity Research Initiative, the Cognitive Aging Research and Education (CARE) Center, the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center, Precision One Health, Owens Institute for Behavioral Research, and the new College of Medicine. This position is contingent on the continued availability of funding.
