About The Position

The University of Indianapolis is seeking a faculty member for a tenure track appointment at the assistant professor level in the Department of English. Requirements

• Ph.D. in English or related field with a minimum of 18 credits of graduate coursework in English.
• Experience/education teaching English language learners (TELL/TESOL) and/or qualifications for writing program administration.
• Ability to teach a range of students in a variety of classes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues in and out of the department.
• Participation in service and scholarship activities.

Responsibilities

• Teach 24 credit hours per year.
