The College of Engineering and Applied Science (EAS) at UCCS offers degrees at the bachelors, masters, and doctoral levels. The Microelectronics Research Laboratory (MRL) of the ECE Department has a well-equipped 4000 sq. ft. class-100 clean room, with device processing and characterization facilities. The Microwave Measurements Laboratory is able to test EMI from high-power circuits. The High-Capacity Battery Research Laboratory has facilities to test and characterize cells, modules, and battery packs for hybrid and electric vehicles. The undergraduate communications laboratory has recently been upgraded with new 6.5 GHz FieldFox spectrum/network analyzers and waveform generators to augment the wideband digital oscilloscopes.
