About The Position
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is searching for an Assistant Professor who is either board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery with a focus in Hand and Upper Extremity. This Position will assist the department with patient care, clinical activities, and education. The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery currently provides medical services to the community of NW Ohio and SE Michigan for all types of musculoskeletal conditions. The Department strongly focuses on collaboration on extensive medical research and education to acquire a greater understanding of the human skeletal system. The mission of the Department is to enhance the effectiveness of surgical procedures and treatments from spinal injuries and disorders, sports medicine, hand and foot disorders, trauma/fixation, and more. The orthopaedic department at UToledo is one of the most published in the country. A team of highly skilled physicians, many of whom are known nationally, is complemented by a dedicated group of research faculty.
