About The Position

Idaho State University is seeking an Assistant Professor in Dental Hygiene. This position involves research/creative scholarship and dissemination, grant writing, professional/community service, teaching in the undergraduate program, and academic advising. The role includes didactic, clinical, laboratory, and online instruction, with a focus on engaging in research and scholarship, advising students, and providing professional service. Requirements

• Master’s degree in dental hygiene or related field
• At least two years teaching experience with adult learners in a bachelor’s dental hygiene degree program
• Experience with scholarship, research, grant writing, and publications within the last two years or more
• Education and recent clinical experience in non-surgical periodontal therapy and the administration of local anesthesia
• Must be a licensed dental hygienist who has graduated from an ADA CODA accredited dental hygiene program
• Must maintain an active Idaho Dental Hygiene License
