About The Position
The Missouri State University Department of Theatre and Dance invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor of Dance starting August 2025. Our undergraduate programs offer rigorous training in a liberal arts setting. Theatre and Dance belongs to the School of the Arts, which is one of five schools in the Reynolds College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (RCASH). The department annually produces two dance concerts, two musicals, three additional plays during the academic year, as well as Tent Theatre's three productions each summer. The successful candidate will embrace the Missouri State University public affairs mission which includes cultural competency, ethical leadership, and community engagement.
