Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related area. Ph.D. must be conferred by start date of appointment (January 2026).
• At least 4 months teaching experience in an academic setting as a teaching assistant, instructor of record or the equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Expertise in one or more areas of Cybersecurity such as data security, software security, system security, network security, component security, formal methods, human aspects of security, and AI/ML security.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in cybersecurity and general computer science as assigned by the chair based on departmental needs.
• Possess a solid publication record.
• Develop or continue to develop a strong research group with externally funded research program in Cybersecurity.
