The Department of Social & Behavioral Sciences is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor to teach upper and lower-level courses in criminal justice. This position seeks a candidate with education or experience in cyber forensic investigations and/or working in cyber security or a closely associated field. The selected candidate must be able to convey contemporary methodologies to CJUS students, including how to conduct cyber investigations, collect evidence, and make presentations in a court. The primary focus of this position is teaching, and the ideal candidate is one who is committed to full-time undergraduate teaching. Additional faculty responsibilities include student advisement, assessment, university service and on-going professional development. Although some coursework may be taught online, this is an on-campus position and requires the selected candidate to be available to teach on campus.
