About The Position

The College of Education and Human Services at Lindenwood University invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Counseling. Faculty and instructors are responsible for curriculum, teaching, service, scholarship, and related administrative activities that support the mission, vision, and values of the university. The Assistant Professor of Counseling is a full-time, 9-month faculty position that will begin August 14, 2025. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until filled.

Requirements

  • PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision or related degree.
  • Current counseling licensure.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Teach 4 courses (3 credit hours) each semester.
  • Advise and mentor students.
  • Continue to develop expertise through research and scholarship.
  • Participate in faculty governance and campus life.
