The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry ( https://www.chem.udel.edu/ ), in the College of Arts and Sciences, invites applications for a continuing track (CT) assistant professor-level position in Chemistry and Biochemistry, starting August 16, 2026. This position offers a strong, supportive setting for a teaching-intensive role in the environment of a highly active research department that supports robust undergraduate and graduate educational programs. The successful candidate will have expertise in teaching introductory chemistry classes to chemistry and biochemistry majors and non-majors, including core concepts in introductory chemistry. Competence and/or experience teaching courses that support the department’s biochemistry and/or inorganic curriculum will also be considered favorably. Successful applicants will share our vision to be a department that is nationally recognized for high-impact research and for delivering exceptional education and training opportunities across the chemical sciences.
