About The Position

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Seton Hall University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor in Computer Science to start in August 2026. Requirements

  • A PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related area is required.
  • The successful applicant will have a strong interest in teaching, in research, and in providing student research experiences.
  • The candidate's Ph.D. must be completed by the start of employment.
  • All applicants are required to provide a teaching statement, research statement and diversity statement (explaining what diversity means to the applicant with respect to Computer Science and to a university community).
  • Please also include a statement waiving the right to see reference letters.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching responsibilities will include courses in Computer Science at all undergraduate levels and/or undergraduate/graduate courses in Cybersecurity or Data Science, including service courses.
