About The Position

The Departments of Neuroscience and Psychology at DePaul University are pleased to invite applications for a full-time joint tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin September 1, 2026. The primary appointment will reside in the Department of Neuroscience. The successful applicant will establish an active independent research program that includes undergraduate students. Teaching responsibilities will include Introductory Neuroscience and Physiological Psychology courses and an upper-level course in Cognitive Neuroscience. The candidate will also be asked to develop upper-level courses in their area of expertise along with the opportunity to teach courses in the Liberal Studies Program. In addition to teaching and research activities, the faculty member will participate in service opportunities while contributing to both the Department of Neuroscience and the Psychology Department. Responsibilities
