About The Position
The Clinical Assistant Professor at OHSU's School of Nursing is responsible for providing holistic nursing care services to the unhoused community, collaborating with a team of nurses, nurse practitioners, and nursing students. This role emphasizes the use of harm reduction and trauma-informed approaches, focusing on outreach, assessments, care coordination, and telehealth services. The appointee will also instruct students on the complexities of homelessness and effective evidence-based approaches to improve health outcomes for this population. The position requires a commitment to OHSU's missions of healing, teaching, and discovery, with a strong emphasis on becoming a trauma-informed and anti-racist institution.
