Assistant Professor - Chemistry & Biochemistry (Tenure-Track)
About The Position
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at The City College of New York (CCNY), the flagship campus of the City University of New York (CUNY), invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in organic chemistry broadly defined, starting Fall 2026. We are seeking candidates who will develop a world-class, externally funded research program. The successful candidate will occupy laboratory space in the new state-of-the-art Center for Discovery and Innovation on the south campus of CCNY. The new faculty member will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses, and mentor students at the undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral levels. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and research accomplishments. Candidate must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related discipline is required.
