There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
The Department of Biology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning Fall 2025. Exceptional candidates who could support our program in molecular cell physiology are encouraged to apply, though areas of particular teaching interest include anatomy and physiology and a course(s) in another subdiscipline of biology, which could include advanced physiology, genetics, genomics and bioinformatics, developmental biology, or introductory biology courses. Research interests are sought which would expand Departmental opportunities for undergraduates in a cell/molecular biology discipline. Research utilizing model systems that can be easily maintained in an undergraduate setting are preferred. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled, but priority will be given to applications received by February 14, 2025. Monmouth University's Department of Biology offers undergraduate degrees in Biology, Biology with a concentration in Molecular Cell Physiology, Biology with Secondary Education endorsement, and Marine & Environmental Biology and Policy. This is an in-person on campus, non-remote position.
