About The Position

The University of South Florida is seeking a qualified candidate for a position that involves teaching doctoral, master's, and undergraduate level courses in Social Work. The successful candidate will assist in Ph.D. student research and dissertation studies, engage in scholarship, research, and grant and contract submissions, and provide service to the university. Teaching will occur on the Tampa campus for face-to-face classroom instruction, and candidates must be available on campus. This is a 9-month tenure/tenure-track continual appointment, subject to annual evaluations. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• MSW and Ph.D. in Social Work or related area (Ph.D. must be conferred by August 7, 2026)

Nice To Haves

• A demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, peer-reviewed publications, externally funded research or strong potential for securing external funding, and service
• MSW from a CSWE accredited School of Social Work
• 2 Years post graduate practice experience
