About The Position

McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time, Assistant/Associate Professor or Full Professor position in the Department of Emergency Medicine.

Requirements

• Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Medical License.
• Required or preferred board certification/eligibility in American Board of Emergency Medicine.
• Required or preferred minimum years of clinical experience or years post-residency statement.

Responsibilities

• Providing clinical service efforts at Memorial Hermann and Lyndon B. Johnson Hospitals helping to supervise medical care in the Emergency Center.
• Working a set number of clinical hours a month and the remaining hours per month will be protected for research, administrative, and educational activities.
• Participating in the Department's teaching activities including both the medical student and house staff educational programs, didactic conferences, seminars, lectures, and case presentations.
