About The Position
The Department of Radiology of the LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans seeks an affable physician for an academic faculty position in the Body Imaging division at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). Our department is dedicated to excellence in patient care, education and scholarly activity. We provide multi-modality radiology services for University Medical Center – New Orleans. This is a new state of the art facility supporting 300+ beds and the only Level 1 Trauma Center in South Louisiana, the Norman E. McSwain, Jr, MD, Spirit of Charity Trauma Center. We are a collegial group looking for a Body Imager to join our team. Responsibilities will include Ultrasound, CT, MRI , Fluoroscopy and Plain Films, and an active role in teaching and scholarship.
