The LSU Health Sciences Center ( LSUHSC ) Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking applicants for a full-time Urogynecologist at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). The primary focus of the Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Urogynecologist will be the clinical care of urogynecologic patients at LSUHSC , supervision and teaching of urogynecology fellows, ob-gyn residents, and medical students, and conducting of clinical research. Clinical responsibilities will include office practice in urogynecology, office-based procedures, and gynecologic surgery. The successful applicant will demonstrate an aptitude for and dedication to medical education including direct teaching of medical students, residents and fellows in various clinical venues. Candidates must have demonstrated capability and experience providing evidence-based and patient-centered Ob-Gyn care and in collaborating and coordinating care in clinical teams that enhance the patient experience with a commitment to excellence in clinical care, patient safety, and patient satisfaction.
