About The Position
The University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Dentistry, is accepting nominations and applications for two full-time faculty positions in the Department of Endodontics. UAB School of Dentistry seeks faculty candidates whose experience, teaching, research, and service have prepared them to contribute to our commitment to being a leader in oral health care. Opportunities exist for Assistant Professor/Associate Professor ranks with open tenure. Academic rank, salary and tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply online. The search will begin immediately and end when positions are filled. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to participate in the Dental Faculty Practice Clinic.
Requirements
- Qualified candidates must have a DDS / DMD degree
- Advanced training in Endodontics
- Be board eligible or board certified in Endodontics
- Have experience in the field
- Candidates must be eligible for licensure or dental teaching permit in the state of Alabama
Nice To Haves
- Candidates who also have a MS/PhD, and have research experience and support, will be preferentially considered for at least one of the positions.
