About The Position

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), Department of Anesthesiology, is seeking physician anesthesiologists for full-time academic faculty and clinician positions. Individuals with fellowship training in the following are strongly encouraged to apply: Critical Care Medicine (CCM), Regional Anesthesia (RA), Chronic Pain Management (CP), Obstetrical (OB) Anesthesia, and Trauma Anesthesia. Qualified generalists are also being sought. The patient population includes a heavy caseload in ortho, trauma, and high-risk OB. Tenure and non-tenure track positions are available. The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), Department of Anesthesiology, is seeking physician anesthesiologists for full-time academic faculty and clinician positions.

Requirements

• Board certification or board eligible for examination by the ABA
• Eligible for licensure in the State of Tennessee
• Completion of an accredited residency
• Current unrestricted licensure as a Physician in Tennessee
• Current certification DEA number
• Eligible for malpractice insurance

Nice To Haves

• Sub certification/training in Critical Care Medicine, Regional Anesthesia, Chronic Pain Management, Obstetrical Anesthesia, or Trauma Anesthesia
