The Assistant Professor and Program Director will facilitate learning, participate in scholarship, service, or any combination of those activities in the Teacher Education program; They may also lead webinars, workshops and orientations, and provide educational planning services for current candidates and alumni.

  • Doctoral or equivalent terminal degree from an accredited college or university
  • Adequate years of experience in the areas involved in assignments
  • Documented potential in the areas of facilitating learning, scholarship, and service
  • Hold a credential or certification in the relevant field
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to explain complex requirements in clear and concise terms
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks per required deadlines
  • Ability to develop trusting relationships with students and University employees
  • Culturally competent and ability to communicate effectively with diverse backgrounds
