The Department of Psychology at Eastern Michigan University announces an opening for a tenure-track assistant professor position with specific expertise in adult clinical psychology starting August 2026. The successful candidate will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses and should demonstrate the ability to teach therapy, assessment, and other clinically relevant courses to a culturally diverse student body. Candidates are also expected to mentor graduate student thesis and dissertation research and to supervise graduate students in evidence-based intervention and assessment at our on-site departmental training clinic, the Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CBHC), as part of their teaching load. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in department and university-level committees and establish a research program with student participation at all levels. Perform related Departmental duties as required.
