About The Position
The Assistant Professor position in Accounting at Southeast Missouri State University involves teaching courses within the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree programs. The normal teaching load is 12 hours per semester and may include traditional, blended/hybrid, and online instruction. Responsibilities also include advising undergraduate and graduate students, participating in student recruitment and retention activities, producing scholarly publications consistent with AACSB accreditation, and providing service to the department, college, university, and professional community. The position requires compliance with accreditation standards and participation in initiatives promoting student success.
