The University of North Carolina at Greensboro School of Art seeks to fill a Tenure Track Assistant Professor position in 3D Foundations. The School of Art seeks applications from artists who are experienced and actively engaged in advancing equity and inclusivity. The School of Art's curriculum introduces students to a variety of conceptual and material approaches to sculpture. A candidate would contribute to undergraduate and graduate education, professional creative activity, and service to the academic community. Candidates will be expected to articulate their understanding of how systems of inequity shape disciplinary knowledge, typical practices in their field and university environments, and how those understandings inform their pedagogy. Candidates will have strengths in traditional 3D practices including basic fabrication in wood and metal, clay, mold-making, assemblage and installation.
