As an Assistant Production Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision of the packing and shipment of all soup/stock/sauces/meals/sandwiches/salads to all stores. Experience leading/supervising a team is crucial for this position. This role has direct supervision responsibilities, upholding Citarella's policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Pack, lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. of merchandise
• Ability to supervise
• Organizational skills
• Time Management skills
• Basic functions of Microsoft office
• Ability to perform physical requirements of position, including standing for extended periods andpossibly inrefrigerated work areas
• Lifting loads of up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Conduct business-related mathematics and analyze data asrequired.

Responsibilities

• Verify the production summary of all shifts
• Handle internal waste report
• Ensure all products are properly labeled and dated
• Verify the distribution and quality of all products
• Pack all packing cycle orders with deadlines and verify proper conditions and temperature.
• Conduct internal time studies
• Monitor and check all pastry and kitchen orders to be packed
• Supervise staff and handle weekly schedules according to business needs
• Research automation and smallware opportunities for the packing department
• Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in the correct uniform.
• In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your manager.
