Requirements

  • A minimum of HS graduate/GED
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing role
  • Ability to attend or conduct production meetings as required
  • Ability to build a successful team by building an environment of trust
  • Ability to troubleshoot any issues that may arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong attention to quality detail and good decision-making
  • Ability to communicate effectively and possess excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Leadership Training Courses
  • RCRA certification (hazardous waste management) (Required for some positions)
  • DOT (Required for some positions)
  • 608 Universal Refrigerant (Required for some positions)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and directs team members regarding the activities that need to be performed
  • Oversees quality control processes to ensure products meet established standards
  • Enforces safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure work environment
  • Reviews and analyzes reporting results to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensures work is completed according to priority, budget constraints, quality standards, and deadlines
  • Manages inventory to ensure employees have all necessary materials, supplies, tools, and equipment parts
  • Provides training and cross-training opportunities for employees to enhance skills and versatility
  • Identifies and develops potential leaders within the team
  • Evaluates employee performance and provides feedback on areas of strength and improvement
  • Administers performance improvement plans as needed to address underperformance
  • Maintains a satisfactory work attendance record and works cooperatively with others
  • Collaborates with other departments to streamline workflows and optimize production processes
