Requirements

Prior experience in retail produce and strong customer service techniques.
Verbal proficiency in English.
Ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, squat, bend, and lift/carry boxes up to 70 lbs.
Comfortable working in varying temperatures, including produce coolers and wet racks.
Flexible availability across various shifts and locations including weekends and evenings
Frequent bending, lifting, walking, and standing.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs consistently.
Work in varying temperature zones (coolers, displays, dry racks).

Nice To Haves

Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations : Assist with produce department workflows; ensure quality and freshness of products.
Support & develop staff : Coordinate training, manage schedules, and provide leadership to team members.
Ensure quality standards : Monitor product freshness, remove spoilage, and maintain cleanliness.
Track performance : Review sales and labor metrics; implement strategies to meet department goals.
Enhance merchandising : Create attractive produce displays and execute product placement strategies.
Take initiative : Step into staff roles as needed, including opening, closing, and covering shifts.
