About The Position
KARM Stores is seeking an Assistant Processing Manager for our Seymour location. This role helps lead the processing department by supporting daily operations, driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and helping develop a strong, mission-minded team. The Assistant Processing Manager works closely with the Processing Manager to ensure donations are efficiently accepted, sorted, processed, and priced in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, staying organized, working hands-on with a team, and helping create an efficient and positive work environment.
Requirements
- Leadership experience in retail, production, warehouse, thrift, or a related environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with a strong sense of urgency
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and support others in doing the same
- Basic computer and web navigation skills
- Clear and legible handwriting
- Commitment to KARM Stores’ mission and values
- Ability to stay organized, manage priorities, and support team productivity
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Support the daily operations of the processing department
- Perform and oversee duties related to accepting donations, presorting, processing, and pricing merchandise
- Help ensure quick, accurate, and efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment
- Encourage and motivate team members to meet daily and weekly production goals
- Work alongside the Processing Manager to address department needs and solve operational issues
- Assist with delegating tasks and responsibilities to team members
- Help lead the department when the Processing Manager is not on shift
- Model and reinforce KARM Stores’ mission, values, and culture with the team
