Assistant Principal - 216 (2025-2026)
About The Position
Applicants must be on the district's Approved Candidate List (ACL) for Assistant Principal before applying. Responsible for providing leadership to maintain a safe and effective learning environment that is consistent and supportive of the District’s vision, mission, and strategic goals. This includes, but is not limited to, assuming responsibility for all school operations and functions, hiring and supervising faculty and staff, implementing the alignment of instructional programs with District guidelines, fostering learning and professional development, and ensuring compliance in all aspects of school functions with federal, state, local, and District regulations.
Requirements
- Master's Degree from an accredited institution in the field of Educational Leadership, or related field
- Three years' experience in classroom teaching and/or school-based administration or any combination of equivalent experience that is reviewed and approved by Superintendent Staff
- Must be in the Assistant Principal Pool
- Certification in Educational Leadership, School Principal or Professional School Principal, or Administration and Supervision
Nice To Haves
- Two years' experience in a leadership role at the school and/or District level
