Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous K-12 education classroom experience
  • Experience working with students in sports or activities
  • Ability to mediate difficult situations
  • The ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively
  • Outstanding organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to push, pull, lift 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and be able to speak to a child at his or her eye level, which may include squatting or sitting on the ground
  • Responsible for maintaining confidentiality regarding all students

  • A commitment to classical education and the school's mission
  • Experience with Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) and/or character education
  • Experience in education management, supervision, or administration
  • Experience in or knowledge of charter or independent schools and the Core Knowledge Sequence
  • Leadership/Mentorship/Development of a team of teaching professionals
