REPORTS TO School Principal SUMMARY Provides leadership and management of a school that is focused on 21 st Century student learning and achievement, relationships and communication, and efficient operations. Promotes the success of each student by facilitating the development, articulation, implementation and stewardship of a 21 st Century vision of learning that is shared and supported by the school community.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Educational Administration, Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction or related field
  • Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card
  • Valid Arizona Principal Certificate
  • Three (3) years teaching experience
  • Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual – fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English and Spanish
  • 2 years of experience in an instructional leadership position, such as Instructional Coach, Dean of Students, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support Facilitator, Teacher Mentor, Curriculum Service Provider, or similar role
  • 1 year of experience teaching Special Education or administering Special Education Programs
  • 1 year of experience teaching English Language Learners (ELL, ESL, ELD, Two-Way Dual Language, etc.) or administering Language Acquisition programs
  • 1 year of experience working in a Title1 school
