About The Position
Reporting to the Principal, the Assistant Principal of Humanities & Intervention serves as the instructional leader for English language arts (ELA) and history at Innovation as well as the shepherd of structures and practices that ensure the school is responsive to the needs of all Innovation students. The Assistant Principal of Humanities & Intervention is a member of Innovation's highly collaborative School Management Team (SMT), along with the Executive Director, Principal, Assistant Principal of STEM Instruction, and Director of College & Career Success and CTE. The Assistant Principal of Humanities & Intervention supervises the ELA team, History team, and a small group of interventionists (approximately 13 educators) while also collaborating with the SMT and other key staff on the overall leadership of the school and engagement with the Innovation community.
