About The Position
Needham Public Schools is an inclusive, dynamic, and multicultural community seeking an energetic, skilled, and warm Assistant Principal to join our team. To enhance our goals of supporting every child, Needham Public Schools seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Newman Elementary School is the largest of 5 elementary schools in the Needham Public School District with students in grades PK-5. The Assistant Principal at Newman School works in collaboration with the Principal and Special Education Coordinator to support the teaching and learning of students, ensure the health and safety of the school community, and foster a climate of the community while reinforcing the school's Core Values. In addition, the Assistant Principal has shared responsibility for supervision and evaluation, facilitation of administrative structures and staffing, scheduling, MCAS administration, and leadership in the school.
