About The Position

Brooke Charter Schools is a network of four public charter schools, serving grades K-12 in Mattapan, Roslindale, and East Boston. As an Assistant Principal at Brooke Roslindale, you work alongside the Principal and other Assistant Principals to sustain an exceptional school that provides all students with a rigorous college-prep education. In this role, you will be the instructional leader for teachers in grades 3-5. You will observe these teachers regularly and provide feedback, facilitate collaborative data and department meetings, and work with other members of the leadership team to plan and lead school-wide professional development. Salary ranges from $112,000-$169,000 and is commensurate with experience.

Requirements

  • Earned a Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years of teaching experience with strong student results
  • Vision for instructional excellence and know the importance of building a classroom culture where students are held to high behavioral and academic expectations.
  • Professional, warm, and collaborative with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Believe that great teaching is the leading indicator of student success and have been unwavering belief in your students' capabilities.
  • Able to start in July of 2026.
