Under the supervision of the Campus Director or Campus Supervisor and in accordance with Head Start (HS) Federal Program Performance Standards, California Department of Education (CDE), California Department of Social Services (CDSS), Childcare Licensing Division (CLD), and Mission Neighborhood Centers (MNC), the Assistant Preschool Teacher will primarily assist the teachers in providing quality, comprehensive child development services to preschool children and their families; and encouraging parental involvement in educational planning, goal setting and campus activities. The Assistant Teacher contributes to a safe, healthy, nurturing, and culturally relevant classroom environment that supports childrens social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and nutritional development. Location(s) : MNC Bayview Children's Campus A one-time hiring bonus of $2,000 is offered exclusively for NEW Assistant Teachers, Associate Teachers, and Lead Teachers. This sign on hiring bonus is paid upon completion of working milestones, no later than 1 year.
