About The Position

At The Learning Experience, we make early education joyful, engaging, and meaningful for both children and teachers. Our Teachers are passionate educators who bring our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to life, helping every child build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Afternoon Floater to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in early childhood education and a passion for supporting the growth and development of young learners.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred.
6+ months of experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available).
Must meet all state childcare licensing requirements.
Passion for helping children learn and grow in a positive environment.

Responsibilities

Support Lead Teachers in implementing The Learning Experience®’s proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
Help create a safe, nurturing, and inspiring classroom environment.
Foster children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
Communicate positively with families and co-teachers.
Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
Step into various age groups (Infants, Toddlers, Preschool) as needed.
Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and enthusiasm every day!
