Primrose School of Lone Tree is seeking an Assistant Preschool Teacher to support daily classroom instruction and help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment. This role partners with the Lead Teacher to implement curriculum, support classroom routines, and foster children’s social, emotional, and academic development. Requirements

  • Must meet Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) requirements for employment in a licensed early childhood education program
  • PDIS Level 1, CDA, EQUIT, Pyramid Plus
  • Previous experience in a licensed early childhood education, daycare center, preschool, aftercare, or public education setting
  • Knowledge of the social, emotional, and developmental needs of young children
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds in connection with child care and safety needs

Responsibilities

  • Support the supervision and daily classroom operations for a group of preschool-aged children
  • Assist in implementing lesson plans and classroom schedules aligned with the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum
  • Foster a positive, well-managed classroom environment that supports learning and independence
  • Observe and support children’s developmental progress
  • Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with the Lead Teacher and Leadership Team
