Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting preferred.
Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
Reliable, team-oriented, and passionate about working with preschool-age children.

Nice To Haves

Coursework or interest in Early Childhood Education (ECE) a plus.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

Support the Lead Preschool Teacher with daily classroom routines, activities, and supervision.
Help implement The Learning Experience’s age-appropriate curriculum, focusing on early literacy, math, social-emotional learning, and hands-on exploration.
Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children ages 3–4.
Assist with meals, playtime, circle time, classroom transitions, and toileting as needed.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
Communicate with families in a friendly, professional manner to support strong partnerships.
Ensure compliance with all Massachusetts EEC childcare licensing requirements.
