About The Position

Position Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Afternoon Floater to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in early childhood education and a passion for supporting the growth and development of young learners. At The Learning Experience, we make early education joyful, engaging and fun so children are happy to learn, play and grow. Our curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff. At TLE, we've created a full cast of characters that become our little learners' educators, partners and friends through their preschool education journey. Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred.
  • 6+ months of experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available).
  • Must meet all state childcare licensing requirements.
  • Passion for helping children learn and grow in a positive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support Lead Teachers in implementing The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and inspiring classroom environment.
  • Foster children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
  • Communicate positively with families and co-teachers.
  • Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Step into various age groups (Infants, Toddlers, Preschool) as needed.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and enthusiasm every day!
