About The Position

Currently accepting applications for a part time UPK Preschool Assistant Director. Leader must have early childhood and supervisory experience to lead our dynamic team of early childhood and therapy professionals. Preference for experience with preschool children with special needs, special education, speech therapy, PT and OT. At Little Lukes, we understand that children are always learning. Requirements

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Customer-focused attitude
Ability to multitask
Proven track record managing a childcare center or preschool
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
Successful background implementing organizational policies and procedures in a facility
Demonstrate success in a leadership role in the implementation of quality initiatives
An associates degree or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood or Special Education or related field AND 2 years of experience supervising staff.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of preschool and childcare regulations
Preference for experience with preschool children with special needs, special education, speech therapy, PT and OT.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all program operations and ensure that they support the philosophy of the organization
Recruit, orient, supervise, train, and develop the team. Ensure a positive team atmosphere.
Develop and regularly monitor systems to ensure all quality assurance practices; regulatory agency requirements; timely and comprehensive child and family intake; meeting concerns and needs of participating families.
