Requirements

  • Two (2) or more years of dental practical experience
  • High degree of professionalism and professional image
  • Positive attitude, change advocate
  • Independent decision-making skills, sound judgment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.
  • Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile.
  • Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable - before, during, and after their appointment - about their treatment and oral health.
  • Assist in managing practice operations to meet or exceed key performance metrics, including budget and production targets, and ensure financial records are accurate.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing non-clinical patient concerns, and assisting in conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with Practice Manager to conduct team performance evaluations and assist in team development.
  • Coordinate patient scheduling, manage appointments, and anticipate scheduling conflicts.
  • Foster positive relationships with doctors, Practice Manager, and team members, facilitating conflict resolution.
  • Safeguard bank deposits and petty cash funds, following established protocols.
  • Optimize patient flow and manage budgeted payroll hours.
  • Train team members on company processes and policies, and support implementation of new procedures.
  • Assist in organizing team meetings and communication efforts, fostering staff development.
  • Contribute to local marketing efforts.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment.
  • Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g, OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook).
