  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of experience as a lifeguard and swimming instructor, including 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Lifeguard Certification upon hire or promotion.
  • First Aid/AED/CPR for Professional Rescuer Certification upon hire or promotion.
  • Water Safety Instructor Certification upon hire or promotion.
  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
  • 2 years as a lifeguard or swimming instructor.
  • Some college courses completed.
  • StarGuard Elite Lifeguard Instructor and/or Swim Lesson Instructor Trainer Certification(s).
  • Accrue 1 hour of paid Statutory Sick Leave (SSL) for every 30 hours worked, eligible for use immediately following accrual; may use up to 40 hours of SSL per tax calendar year.
