Assistant Pool Director - Seasonal
About The Position
The Corinthian Yacht Club is a private, member-owned club situated on scenic Marblehead Harbor. We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Pool Director to join our team for the 2026 summer season (May-September). Our vibrant pool community is eager to welcome a knowledgeable, dedicated, and engaging leader. You'll be working with a long-tenured aquatics team in a fun, collaborative environment that values both professionalism and camaraderie. The Assistant Pool Director will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for members, and supporting a well-functioning, enthusiastic staff alongside or in the absence of the Pool Director. Key Dates: Season Opening Day: May 23, 2026 Season Closing Day: September 13, 2026 The pool operates 7 days a week from 6am-9pm
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Current certifications in CPR/AED, First Aid and Lifeguarding required.
Nice To Haves
- BS/BA degree ideal but not required.
- Competitive swimming background, helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Lead/support the daily operation and maintenance of the outdoor Swimming Pool Complex.
- Manage and support staff in the daily operations, cleaning, and maintenance responsibilities.
- Coaching of swim lessons and local meets throughout the season
- Support the educational, recreational, and competitive swim programs.
- Support the planning and execution of pool social events- Splash Parties, Annual Water Show, and Family Nights.
