We’re looking for a team-focused leader with 5+ years of metal slitting experience , Plant Supervisor or Assistant Plant Manager for at least 4 years, and a strong background in manufacturing/warehouse operations . This is your chance to grow into a Plant Manager role within a top-tier metals distributor. You’ll be mentored by a highly successful Plant Manager and play a key role in leading, training, hiring, and growing our team. What You’ll Do: Lead daily plant operations with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives Support team development and operational excellence Collaborate across departments to meet customer needs Prepare to step into the Plant Manager role in the coming years

Requirements

  • 5+ years as a slitter experience is a must
  • SAP, Excel, and MS PowerPoint is a MUST!
  • 2+ years in supervisor or similiar in a manufacturing/warehouse leadership
  • Strong project management and continuous improvement mindset
  • Passion for teamwork, training, and growth
  • Strong Safety focus!
  • Great communicator (verbal, written)
  • Team focused on learning, training, development and advancing the organization
  • On-the-floor leadership style
  • Open to relocation to Smithfield, RI
