About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Oversee daily operations of the rock quarry in Bridgeport, Texas to ensure efficiency and productivity. Achieve a production volume of 3.8 million tons per year while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and company policies. Implement and monitor safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Coordinate with various departments to optimize production and meet quality standards. Manage inventory and ensure timely delivery of materials. Lead and develop a team to achieve operational goals and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of plant operations and safety regulations.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
  • Bachelor's degree in related Engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Five years of aggregates operations management experience.
  • Advanced understanding of geology, mining methods, and regulations.
  • Proven leadership skills managing multiple, diverse teams.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and business opportunity identification.
